Archery team goes to National tournament

Saturday, May 14th, 2016, NMHS Archery team represented the school in Louisville, KY at the NASP National Tournament. They competed in two divisions, Bulls-eye and IBO 3-D. The bulls-eye tournament is the normal target face with the ten scoring rings. NMHS finished with an overall team score of 3343, ranking 48th of 232 high school

North Feeder Schools Sweep NASP State Championship Tournament

North Murray schools traveled to Perry, GA March 4th, 2016 for the NASP State Archery Tournament. For the first time ever, all of the north feeder schools won the championship for each school division. Woodlawn Elementary scored 3191. Bagley Middle shot 3251. North Murray won overall with a 3359. North Murray Archery Dominates Georgia NASP District Tournaments

Throughout the Fall, schools participating in NASP (National Archery in Schools Program) have been hosting district tournaments. High school teams that shoot a score of 2700 out of 3600 at any district tournament, are then qualified to shoot at Regional tournaments throughout the state in January and February. NM Archery Finishes 1st

North Murray Archery hosted the district tournament on January 9th.  NM archery finished in first place with a score of 3315. The next event is the NASP Regional Tournament @ Woodlawn Elementary on Febuary 6th.
